For years I have struggled to come to terms with the fact that I do actually have a gift without sounding arrogant. The work I do is hard work but when you can help someone get to the core of their real issues and play a part in witnessing people being more fulfilled in the work they do, deepen their external relationships and grow their personal confidence in what they want, its a real thrill.
With any gift you have a choice. Hold onto it or open it up and share it. That is why the apprentice program was set up. Each year I select a couple of people who I believe have something that I know being exposed to my work in an intimate capacity will assist them to grow even more.
Please note: You cannot apply for this program but rather are invited to take part.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
- The selected apprentice is invited to take part in one of the mentoring programs or retreats I run annually
- You get to spend time with me before hand to set the tone for the experience
- You get to take part in the program as a co-facilitator and are encouraged to add to the program but without the pressure to have to.
- You get to debrief with me throughout the days to discuss the work and the flow of the work
- You get to ask questions to why and how I work the way I do
- You get a change to get and insider look into my work
- You get to play a part in changing peoples lives
WHAT DOES IT COST?
In short, nothing. Depending on the experience you may have to incur accommodation and food.
WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
You have to meet the criteria below which is completely based on my experience and feeling from you.
HOW DO I QUALIFY?
Please remember because of the intimate nature of my work the apprentice program is only open to as little as two places per year and is not offered on all programs. If I do not select a person that does not mean there is something wrong with them. I choose someone based on some simple practical qualifiers but mainly on my gut feel about them. I protect the room and the clients that choose to work with me and therefore the apprentice has to ‘fit’ with my style.
SOME PRACTICAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
1. Someone who has or is experiencing my work beyond BaseCamp or audio CD’s.
2. Someone who has a REAL interest is assisting others to grow.
3. Someone who has compassion for others.
4. Someone who does NOT believe they have all the answers.
We do not expect you to promote us now or in the future. Apart from that we ask that you respect my direction and methods and while may not always agree there is always method in my madness.
